Decent climbing around Junggye?

I just moved to Junggye, close to Nowon (North-East Seoul) and would love to hear if anyone knows about good boulders in the area. I've been running around Suraksan, and have had decent success, but maybe there is a better place? Willing to travel along the metro if anyone's got an idea. Please help a brotha out. Can't afford to pay for six months up front in a gym with AC hahaha.

If you have a climbing partner, you can go to Dangoge station(end of subway line 4). There is a big sports climbing wall.(dangoge park, also FREE) And also Bulamsan(near your home) is good for bouldering and many sports route in there. But actually I'm in Australia now(I can't help you), so you can ask to other people. I can suggest for you this web site. They are going bouldering very often. So you can just contact them. good luck buddy!

thanks man. as of right now, i'm lacking on the sportclimbing gear. just got some shoes and a pad, so i might have to take a rain check on that for next time. i do want to go to the riverbeds soon, maybe this weekend. if you're interested in heading up there for a good boulder sesh, hit me up!

Bouldering near Seoul

Rbs http://www.koreaontherocks.com/climb...rt%3Dnam e%26

This area is closer to you and on the approach to Insubong. Can give better directions if you want more.

Also you may want to check the Gwanaksan riverbed area down on line 4 south of the river - i have the pdf for the area if you want it

Climbmonster held a great festival there a few years ago and you may want to see what they do regularly http://climbmonster.com/?p=3153

Also on the facebook site- there is a bouldering group https://www.facebook.com/groups/4851...22662/?fref=ts

I went out to campsite boulders towards insubong yesterday. it was good, but i didn't know about the makeshift map on this site, so i kinda just looked around for some problems of my own. it was pretty good though. i'd love that pdf for gwanaksan if you've got it always down to check out new areas.
