Ganhyun this weekend

Unless Dogeun's boss decides to change Dogeun's vacation dates, we'll be heading to Ganhyun Fri-Sun (3-5).
It would be cool to see other KOTR's there as well.
Anyone heading there this weekend?

Thinking about trying to make it out there this weekend but it's my first trip up that way, Maybe some one could give me a little better beta about how to get there, I assume there would be a bus from Wonju would that be a good assumption or am I going to get stuck in Wongu? If you have been out there by bus how far is it from Wonju?
Any advice on how to get there (I'm in Cheong-ju) would be greatly appreciated. Thinking about coming out for Fri-Sun depending on the minbak situation.

Bus 52 from Wonju Station or Nambu Market (and other stops, though not the bus station) goes to Kanhyon Station. There's a bus stop ib front of the resort as well; busses to Mun-mak, though I don't know the numbers, make infrequent stops there.

There are hotels, min-baks and camping/bivy options at Kan-hyon, though on weekends and holidays, MTs (Membership Training, essentially, drinking and bonding trips for university students-- think: LOUD) are held here often. Camping by the furthest train bridge on either side of the river is an option (a few trains run nightly; earplugs are not available on site, but are a good idea!).
Look under Ganhyeon in the Search climbs thread and you'll find even more beta on getting there. It's pretty easy, even a train stop right at Ganhyeon, from which a 10min walk will get you there. Plenty minbaks and camping avail.

Actually yes, it rained. We were driving through the area on our way to Seoul yesterday around 11ish and it was POURING! So don't feel bad about missing out.
