Mistakes

Let me know if you see any mistakes! Prefer English words first, then Korean?

Could you coordinate that with the definitions from the other thread on climbing jargon? Really helpful!

good to know!

here are some terms I learned at the gym recently:

확보준비완료 -- hwak-bo jun-bi wan-lyo -- "belay on"
출발준비완료 -- chul-bal jun-bi wan-lyo -- "climb ready"
출발 -- chul-bal -- "climbing" or "climb on," depending on who says it. (both should say it.)
추락 -- chu-rak -- "falling!"
줄당겨 / 텐스 -- jul-dang-gyeo / ten-seu -- "take" / "tension"
줄늦춰 -- jul-neut-chwo -- "slack"
완료 -- wan-lyo -- lit. "complete," for when you've sent the route
하강 / 내려줘 -- ha-gang / nae-ryeo-jwo -- "lower me"
