I climbed here. Very clean gym, and the directions are impeccable and I had absolutely no problems finding this gym. The gas station doesn't say Hyundai Oil Bank on it though, the station I saw SK in the logo. The busy nights are on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (or so I was told). The locals are very nice and will include you in their climbing challenges (or at least the locals climbing when I was there did). There wasn't much English spoken, but climbing is a universal language. I had a lot of fun. |

directions are spot on; pretty much turn right at the first SK gas station, walk the ten minutes, and turn right at the next SK gas station astroman is right there |

ATTENTION!!! the first gas station no longer exists. It is die! The directions are still great, just don't look for that first SK station. |

| It's been remodeled as of November, 2011, and is MUCH nicer than before. Honestly, it's one of the nicest bouldering gyms in Seoul at the moment. It's not K2, but it's also only 90k/mo or 15k/day. The walls are tall, the pads are perfect, the routes are great, and the hours are spectacular. It's open from 9am-11pm weekdays and 9am-6pm on weekends. I'll try to post some new pictures soon, but you should definitely check it out. Hongdae Station exit one, take a right at your first intersection, walk about 10m until you come to the gas stations (one on each side), turn right...you can't miss it. The 7011 and 7016 buses also go there...3rd stop after Hongdae. |

Thought I'd give everyone a little update about this place, as I checked it out the other day... It still exists, and is really nice. A cool little hole-in-the-wall type of place, with some good wall features and nice staff. It's not a really high-wall gym--it's just bouldering (no ropes), but the pads are nice and the facility is clean and easy to find if you follow the directions above. There aren't a ton of routes, and most of them are geared towards the beginner and intermediate level. But there are a lot of random holds up, so you could easily make up some of your own routes just for kicks. A few things to note: The prices have increased a bit. I think the manager told me it's W90,000 now for a 1-month membership (non-student), and it's W15,000 for a non-student day pass. Also, there's no loose chalk allowed, only liquid. They let me borrow some, but if you don't have your own, plan to buy a bottle of it at the gym. Overall, still a really cool little space, and great spot for any boulderers near Hongdae. |

Just took my first class here, yesterday. They teach you well starting from the basic and the daily question seems fun to solve. But to be honest, one should avoid using the gym between 7:00pm-10:00pm; too much people on the wall. |

| Also, the prices have changed. Briefly, adult day pass for 15,000 won, adult monthly fee of 110,000 won and adult three-month class for 250,000 won. The enrollment in class does not preclude you from paying the monthly fee. So three months with class would be 110,000X3 plus 250,000, or 580,000 won. |

| Prices are updated online at the Astroman website. The gym was small and I found it difficult to figure out the marked climbs. I agree with coming at non-peak times, especially give that many of the climbs are horizontal and span entire walls. |
