Climbing Club The Top
Submitted on March 4th, 2005 by arizona_6 Type: Gyms    Province: Gyeonggi-Do    City: Seoul
photo Basement Bouldering Gym. It's fairly good sized (compared to some i've seen). Bouldering only. The owners don't speak much english. They have only a monthly charge of 65,000W. I think this is more for their club fee, but i didn't ask.
OPEN: 1pm-11pm MON-SAT... [Read More]

photo KotRi started rebolting this crag in the spring of 2014. Currently 5 of the 8 anchors have been replaced along with the hangers on 30 of about 50 bolts. There are a total of 9 routes including the crack that traverses half of the crag and shares and anchor with one of the vertical routes. The shorter section on the right is in the 5.8-5.9 range. The crack is a 5.9. The far right climb is about 5.10b. I haven't climbed the rest so I couldn't say.... [Read More]

Danggogae Station

photo Outdoor artificial climbing wall (15 meters?). Ratings unknown, just guessing 5.8-5.11.

Small bouldering wall next to the main wall. Very similar to the Eungbong wall, but the holds are worn a little smoother.... [Read More]

photo I really don't know the grades because I don't know all the boulders or lines. I think the rock is mostly granite. Some of this is high-balling.

There are at least 2 good boulders on the main trail (names unknown, but one was said to be 5.9 = VB or V0). But I found boulders all over the place, so have fun exploring.

As you find projects, add your beta to this post. The more, the better. Thanks.... [Read More]

photo Granite crag with about 17 bolted routes. Mostly vertical climbs, with some overhanging or slabby parts. Mostly good quality rock, with some loose/"rotten" parts of the crag.

The routes vary in length, from around 10 m to around 25 m. The bolts and anchors generally look very new and safe. There is, however, some dubious webbing used at the anchors on most routes, but this is in addition to the good-looking wires that are also used.... [Read More]

photo Granite aid/trad/sport practice wall smack in the "middle" of Seoul! There's a 5.10 sport route with artificial holds, an arching crack (under a roof) for aid or trad practice (two nuts and numerous pitons are fixed, but still some room to place small wires and maybe an alien. A short trail right from the staircase down would let you fix a TR, but except maybe the corner crack (a hard slabby near featureless route) there's little possibility.... [Read More]
