Description
this place has 15 m climbs on a very nice line of ice. the quoted name may be inaccurate, but it's upposed to translate as 'thread falls' owing to the narrowness of the ice line.

Directions
this place is extremely close to the ahgulbawi sport climbing crag. take a bus from sokcho to jangsudae on the east side of seoraksan, and upon being dropped off, immediately cross the road. there's a minbak/ campground area here if you need to camp, but otherwise follow the dirt road until you see a perpinducular road branching off to the left. follow this road until it leads you to a shallow river. cross and follow the trail up through the forest for about five minutes and you'll come to the falls.

Safety Concerns
the one time i visited this crag, it was extremely busy and a little sketchy as a result. if you can visit this place on a weekday, you'd be the proverbial pig in ddung.

Gear to Bring
as many screws as you're comfortable leading on. there are bolts off to either side at the top of the falls for rappels/ top rope setups.

Additional Comments
there's a very nice campground amongst towering pines next to a tranquil river right acroois the road from the jangsudae park entrance (also a good place to camp in the summer if you're visiting ahgulbawi). there are stores nearby where you can purchase typical korean junk food and the like, or a minbak if you're lacking a tent.

If you are headed to Jangsudae, it's about three and a half hours from DongSeoul Bus terminal or thirty minutes from Inje, if you're not travelling from the Seoul area. If you're coming from anywhere on the west side you will travel HOURS out of your way if you head to Sokcho first! Also, the locals refer to it as Shilpokpo

As you can see, the weekdays are empty and you can clearly see the falls from the river...

Not sure where the 15 m comes from? These falls are 70 m bottom to top by my guess and the bolted anchor is 45 m up (end of vertical) on climbers right near a small, but obvious pine tree.
