Description
Granite rock in the center of town. Half dozen vertical routes, about 10-12 meters. I am guessing at grades-- I've only tried the routes on the left, which are rather featureless, even when you get to what appear to be features. We thought the routes right looked easier, but it was getting late. . . and in any event, they didn't look super easy, so there may not be a 5.9?

Directions
From the bus station, head left until the corner, take a right until the main Intersection (after the agricultural co-op) and then head left. Pass the signed trailhead for Flowerpeak Mountain (꽃봉산)-- none of the interwoven trails leads to the climbs-- and walk around. You'll pass the Seoungwoo Apartments and the "Sports Park" with the artificial climbing wall on your right, and shortly thereafter you'll see the prominent cliffband above you on the right.

The base is slopey and the trail up non-existant. . . see the rocks and head up. . . take a do-it-yourself approach, so to speak. One of the better options is to start behind a gazebo just across from the bridge, and past a sign for the sewerage plant. There's a trail behind it up to a grave, from there it's a short bushwhack left to the rocks. Another option is to start behind the marble monument next to the sewerage treatment signpost, but the trail disappears soon and you're left to make way up wherever if looks best. . . at any rate, it's hard to miss the ridge.

Safety Concerns
The bolts seem decent and the anchors are OK. . . the closed loops are corroding, but you can top out easily enough. You can scramble up to the anchors for TRing.

Gear to Bring
6 draws and a 50 meter rope would get you up any of the climbs.

Additional Comments
Fill up in town-- the rocks are about 30-40 minutes (on foot) from the bus station, including the final approach (about 20 minutes from the street).

Sancheong has a nice Jjimjilbang "Sancheong HotSprings Land" which is pretty uncrowded, even on weekends.

I have not been able to find out any information as to who put up the routes, when, or actual grades. Info anyone?!
