Description
50,000 won / month. This is a completely private gym, but it is open to you 24hrs a day, if you want to join and pay the monthly fee its good place if your schedule is wonky.

The koreans that run it are very nice people, so if you want a Gym in Bundang this is the place.

The gym itself is not amazing, but for its a decent training wall. Try to contact the gym on a sunday if you want to get a access, since that is the day most people climb.

Directions
Tricky.... ok lets go!

Funny Story: To find this he first time I actually convinced a Domino's Pizza delivery guy to drive me there on the back of his scooter. It was awesome, but try walking fisrt!

Get off at Sujin stn. on the Pink Sunbay line. Near Moran on the Bundag line. Get out of the subway at exit 2. Look around and paralel to you will be a very busy big street, and to your left should be a smaller side street (see pictures for help) take this side street and walk until you get to a the fist major instersection. This intersection has a funky set of Cross walks. At this intersection cross the street and once on the other side turn right. Walk on the other, what is now the left hand side of the street for about 300m until you get to and open parking lot and a street going up a slowly rising hill. Turn left and walk up this hill, for about 200m passing through a small alley-way intersection. The San Sarang Gym is in the basement of a left hand side building (see pics). You should phone first so that the people who run the gym can come and meet you, so you can sign up, or have the gym opened for you. Please go to their web site, since they have a small map available to view so you can undestand the area bit better, and then use my pictures to get your barings.

okay heres the new directions...

go out subway exit 6 at Moran station, do a 180 degree turn and take the first right, then take the first right once again. The gym is in the basement about 100-200 feet from that intersection on the left side of the road, a childrens tae kwon doe gym is in the basement with it.

And a church is above it.

just joined the gym, membership is now 70,000 per month, but for 24 hour access thats still a bargain!

The gym is in SEONGNAM (Bundang). Not Seoul...

About it being 'members only', almost all Gyeonggi gyms are members only in that you can't pay for a day pass. But you're still welcomed to visit a couple times to try it out.

Is that also the case here?

I just joined this gym. I followed kocoeric's directions and easily found the place.

A day pass is 10,000 and the monthly membership fee is now 80,000. There is also a 10,000 deposit for the key.

Went to look for this place today (a Sunday) and found the Tae Kwan Do / Church location, but wasn't able to get downstairs to the gym. There were no signs of a gym being there and seeing as how it's been about three years since the last post on here I'm guessing it could be closed.

I went to the website and it seems like nothing has been updated since 2011. Has anyone else had luck here recently?
