Description
Baekeun Pokpo is roughly 80M in length. The first 50M is graded at WI1~2. The final 30M is graded WI3. 2~3 routes are possible.
Directions
Take Highway 47 from Seoul to Pocheon. Follow Highway 47 through and past I-dong. Shortly after I-dong, take a right onto Highway 316, which runs along the right side of a small river. Pull into the Baekeun Gyegok Park parking lot.
APPROACH: From the parking lot, head up the main road, cross two bridges, and the road changes to a stone-laden trail. Follow track up along side the creek for roughly twenty minutes. The fall will be to your right, follow the goat track to the base of the fall.
Safety Concerns
Plenty of trees to fix anchors. Take caution of potential falling rock to the right and left of the fall.
Gear to Bring
Long slings, cordelette, and your ice rack. 60M rope will suffice.
Additional Comments
The parking fee is roughly 1,200won. Park fee is not certain. Camping is uncertain, but looks to be okay(no warning signs). Plenty of water from the creek and shops at the parking lot.

Visited this place on 13 Jan 17. No parking fee from what we could tell. Once we got there the first 50M was surprisingly steep still for a hike, about 40-50 degrees. It is possible to scramble up the side to get closer to the steep section. I would advise against this and just gear up at the bottom and split this up in two pitches. Build and anchor at the base of the second pitch so everyone can be safely secured to the climb.
