This is a bouldering gym near the City Hall area of Jeju City. The owner is Jung Sang Soo, one of the original developers of climbing on the Island. The members are friendly and focus on helping beginner climbers. When the weather is nice, they often take weekend trips to Musucheon and to the outdoor climbing wall by the stadium.

Several sport climbs around a natural bridge in the Musucheon river bed. Similar rock to Musucheon. I was told that these are some of the newest routes put up on the island, so all of the bolts and anchors are in perfect shape. The rock tends to be a bit polished, so chalk is a must.... [Read More]

Musucheon

Musucheon is a riverbed climbing site just outside of Jeju City. The fresh water flows from Halla Mountain which sits in the center of the island. The cliffs straddleing the stream that flows through the riverbed are accesible by foot and present around 20-30 good challenges for intermediate and advanced climbers. The limstone varies from smooth slabs with crimp holds to large jagged faces with jugs to grab hold of, underhand holds, small overhang starts, and small cracks.
